Volunteers play a very important role at Imani Schools, bringing wonderful skills and energy to our organisation and making a difference to the lives of many. We have volunteer opportunities for people coming from all around the world.

Our volunteers contribute in many different ways, including teaching a skill to the children,helping with our fundraising events, sponsorship program, office administration, database support, website management and community engagement, just to name a few.

Visit Us

We love visitors at Imani Schools. Our team and the children will welcome you with open arms.

We host our popular ‘Life Exchange’ Trip each year to our projects. This trip offers a unique chance to immerse yourself in the African way of life and meet the children and the community we are working with in Nansana.

Each year we host a trip to our projects in nansana sharing with visitors the positive impact of education on the communities we work with. Register your interest here. Who can be an Imani advocate?

Anyone passionate about Imani Schools, studying or working anywhere around the world and wants to play an active role in telling the world about it. Whether you've just started high school or have recently retired, we would love your support!

Ways you can get involved

Speak or present the mission behind Imani Schools and our impact to date at your workplace, school, club or university. Our amazing team will make sure you have all the information you need to make the session informative and inspiring.

Host a fundraiser or take part in one of our annual peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns like 1HumanRace or the Global Dinner. By participating, you're not only raising vital funds to help us continue our essential work but also raising awareness of Imani Schools amongst your community.

Do something great by embarking on an adventure or setting yourself a goal that you've always wanted to achieve. Along the way, you will direct people to your fundraising page to help you reach your set dollar goal — whether it's $100 or $1000!

Spread the word about our life-changing work with your world by getting active on social media. Post at least once a month, add us to your Instagram bio (Proud @imanischools Advocate) and share our posts as much as possible!
