The Problem

Today, more than two billion people worldwide live on less than $2 a day. According to data from the UNESCO Institute for Statistics (UIS), 263 million children and youth are not in school. The majority of these are girls, and this number continues to grow.

In many parts of the developing world, families face limited choices regarding educating their children. Aside from the few who can afford expensive private education, most are left with chronically underfunded schools plagued by poor management, dilapidated facilities, and outdated education systems.

Imani is here to disrupt the status quo, by providing families, regardless of their income, with a choice in education. Our mission is to offer access to quality education through innovative solutions that bridge the gap between affordability and excellence. Regardless of background, every child deserves an education that prepares them for a brighter future.
