What would your life be like without an education? For the communities we work within Uganda, we have seen education give hope to children and their families for a brighter future. Through our student sponsorship program, you can make a significant impact on a child and their family.
Sponsoring a pupil at Imani Academy in Uganda provides access to quality education.
Their education journey begins in our Early Childhood Development (ECD) classroom and continues through to the completion of primary school (Primary 7), before progressing onto secondary school. For a monthly contribution of US$50, you can give a student the life-changing gift of quality education and be the bridge to their brighter future.
You may want to give a direct scholarship to the poorest children enrolled in our schools. It costs about $150 a year to educate a child (this amount includes tuition, meals, school uniforms, books, assessments, etc.) Our families are used to making sacrifices to pay daily installments (of about 65 US cents) over the course of the 270 school days. Your donation would lessen the financial burden on these poor families and would go into a scholarship fund which is afforded to the poorest children in our schools based on their need level: a third ($50), half ($75), or in the case of orphans they get 100% ($150) scholarship

At The Beginning
When you become a sponsor you will receive a beautiful photo and get to know what makes your sponsor child unique.
During Your Sponsorship
You can exchange letters, photos and stories with your sponsor child twice a year. The children are able to write back to you straight away, answering your questions and personally responding to your letter, strengthening your connection and bringing our two worlds closer together.
Together We Can Achieve More
As a sponsor, you will receive an annual Progress Report on your sponsor child. Education is at the core of everything we do and we continue to encourage all our students to reach for the stars.
