Mission

At Imani, our mission is to make high-quality education accessible to pupils from disadvantaged communities in Africa in order to empower them to become leaders of positive influence.

We are committed to helping achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4: to ensure inclusive and quality education for all and promote lifelong learning.

Our model for primary education is paving the way for eradicating illiteracy and poverty in Uganda. We embrace the challenge of teaching students from the bottom of the economic pyramid. However, the quality of both our academic and enrichment programs rival those found in the best private schools in Uganda.

Our purpose is to uplift millions of underprivileged children in Uganda through high quality, holistic education. One student, one teacher, one school at a time. We’re starting the movement for sustainable change that will impact lives and communities across Africa, for the better.

We’re looking ahead, and our partnerships with communities will drive our growth. Ten years from now, we plan to be a market leader in providing great schools and high-quality affordable education to underserved families in Uganda, giving thousands of children an education that enables them to archive their full potential.
